Start at the start

benzinpriser.io has been quietly collecting data for some time… it’s time to whip this website into shape!

Here are some short and longer-term goals which I will tick off this Autumn/Winter here in Denmark.

Short term goals with high priority

• [x] Migate from Google Compute Engine to Closte
• [  ] Fix Highest and Lowest price today details for fuel types
• [x] Re-schedule the crawl refresh to run at 5am CET each day
• [x] Migrate to WPML and translate templates to Danish and German
• [x] Switch Theme to TwentyTwenty dropping the left sidebar panel on Desktop

Long term goals with lower priority

• [  ] Fix the Electric average price and crawl data from Electric providers in Denmark to present more accurate averages
• [  ] Install API services and open up API usage to the general public
• [  ] Add date range and date period filtering to Fuel type and Brand charts
• [  ] Present table data for date periods with the opportunity to export to CSV/TSV/XSL
• [  ] Add maps of current fuel stations per Brand
